Matteo Nasini

Matteo Nasini (Rome, 1976) lives in Rome and after studying at the conservatory and pursuing a musical career, he decided to embrace the visual arts. His research originates from the study of sound and drawing and takes the form of sound installations, performances, textile, and sculptural works. His works have been exhibited in various galleries and at numerous festivals, including the Clima Gallery (Milan), MAXXI (National Museum of 21st-century Arts), Macro (Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome), Nomas Foundation (Rome), Museo di Villa Croce (Villa Croce Museum of Contemporary Art) in Genoa, Villa Romana (Florence), Centro Arti Visive Pescheria (Pesaro), Palazzo Fortuny (formerly Palazzo Pesaro Orfei, Venice), Manifesta 13 (Marseille), and the EDF Foundation (Paris).
