The eighth edition of the award Premio In Sesto confirms its renovated international formula which is extended to the countries of the Alpe-Adria Euroregion: the three selected artists who compete this year are active in Croatia, in Trentino Alto Adige, and in Friuli Venezia Giulia respectively.
The award follows the usual formula: the three participants submit their sculpture and installation projects designed for the moat around the ancient walls of San Vito al Tagliamento, and the audience votes for their favorite one in order to choose the work that will be produced during 2017.
The selected work will be installed permanently in San Vito al Tagliamento, thus becoming an integral part of its artistic heritage.
A solo exhibit of works by Michele Spanghero, winner of Premio In Sesto 2015, is on display at Fondazione Furlan in Pordenone.
