Maria Walcher

Maria Walcher (Brixen, 1984) lives in Innsbruck (Austria) and works as a senior artist at the "Mozarteum" in Salzburg. She studied at the Bauhaus University in Weimar (Germany) where she earned a master's degree in Public Art and New Artistic Strategies and at the Universität für angewandte Kunst (University of Applied Arts) in Wien (Austria). Her work has been exhibited at the Künstlerhaus Büchsenhausen in Innsbruck (2018), in Certosa Val Senales (2017), at the Gorki Theater in Berlin (2015), at the Kunstfest Weimar (Weimar Art Festival) (2014), at Quartaire Contemporary Art Initiatives in Den Haag (2014), and at SOMA in Mexico City (2013), among others.
