The 2021 edition of Palinsesti proposes, as usual, four exhibitions dedicated to contemporary art. The Antico Ospedale and the Chiesa di Santa Maria dei Battuti host the exhibition Mappe dell’astrazione, dedicated to experiences of abstract contemporary art in Friuli Venezia Giulia, curated by Luca Pietro Nicoletti in collaboration with Magalì Cappellaro, Serenella Todesco and Alberto Vidissoni. 

The projects of the In Sesto Prize will be displayed in the rooms of the Antiche Carceri, curated by Michela Lupieri in collaboration with Alice Debianchi. In this edition the artists have been asked to design a work for the Foro Boario area (an old market of the city). The selected participants are Jérémy Berton from France, Hella Gerlach from Germany, and Francesco Pozzato from Italy.

The exhibition in the spaces of Palazzo Tullio-Altan, curated by Giada Centazzo, pays homage to the winner of the last edition, Maria Walcher.

Finally, the Essiccatoio Bozzoli carries on with the usual focus on the work of the artists present in the Punto Fermo collection. The exhibition, curated by Antonio Garlatti, consists of an installation conceived especially for the space by Maria Elisabetta Novello.
